Got Some Tunes [October]

The Wombats: Tokyo (vampires and wolves)

I'm not sure whether I like this because it's genuinely better than their first album or just because I'm not fed up of it yet. Either way it's such a good tune.

We Are The Ocean: Lucky ones
I really like the new stuff WATO are releasing at the moment however I don't think this song really sound like them much; I feel like the chorus is just begging to be catchy. It's not bad though.

Francesqa: Years
I don't think Francesqa could ever write a song that isn't catchy.

Attack! Attack!: We're not the enemy
I still love Attack! Attack! even though most of their songs sound pretty much the same and have the same format. I quite like the video for this as well.

Deaf Havana: Smiles all round
The new direction Deaf Havana are heading for is really working for them and this song just emphasises that. I love the spirit they have about their music despite the amount of hate they've gotten since Ryan's departure.

Swedish House Mafia & Tinie Tempah: Miami 2 Ibiza
Such a tune seriously and the lyrics are absolutely brilliant.

Eminem: No love (feat. Lil Wayne)
I prefer the structure of this song to other stuff Eminem's released recently, it's just a bit different. Lil Wayne isn't half as annoying as usual on this either.

James Blake: Limit to your love
I didn't realise that this was a cover when I first heard it but it's beautiful.

We Are Scientists: I don't bite
Such a catchy riff in this. We Are Scientists can do no wrong, period.

Sam Garrett: The river
Brilliant singer/songwriter, amazing voice. His stuff isn't on youtube so go to http://www.myspace.com/samgarrettmusic to hear his stuff.
